Windows policy config files allow administrators to enforce security settings and configure device features remotely, ensuring consistent compliance across all devices. You can also enable Kiosk mode to enhance security and usability by locking devices into specific applications or functions, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring consistent user experiences.
To create or edit a Windows config file and apply it to your devices, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to Admin Console>Switch to Policy & Kiosk tab>Choose Policy & Kiosk Config Files>Choose and edit an existed config file or click +Create Config File
2. If you are creating a new config file, please choose Windows.
3. From here, you can set all kinds of limitations and settings for your config file.
4. If you want to enforce the device to Kiosk mode, please click Kiosk Mode and select Multi-app mode or Single App Mode.
5. After the config is set up or click an existing config, you can check the general and application information of the config.
6. Under the general information section, you can apply the config file to the devices or groups.
7. After applying the config file to devices, you can check the status in the History section.
