When trying to access certain apps via the remote control function, sometimes a green or black screen will be shown instead of the original page.
This is a privacy protection method provided by Google for developers to call and cover the specific page when users are attempting to take a screenshot or cast the page to other devices.
This mechanism is commonly implemented to the options below (include but not limited to)
- Banking applications
- Financial Service applications
- Some customized Android system settings let you insert some sensitive information
- Some specific settings on higher versions of vanilla Android systems
- Applications with login function
Some applications provide options for you to disable this function, but some don't.
If you have any questions, please check the information with the app provider.
