[Guide] How to use App Blocklist/Allowlist on AirDroid Business?

You can allow apps to be used and disallow others that are not on the list, or vice versa, by using the Policy and/or Kiosk config files.

Please note that App Blocklist/Allowlist is only affected by the apps that have already been installed on your device or rolled out into your App Library.

Here are the steps to set up the App Allowlist:

1. Go to Admin Console > Policy or Kiosk > Config File > Edit

2. Click Add Apps to App Blocklist/Allowlist to start adding Apps

3. There are four methods to add the Apps into the allowlist..

If you are not able to find the App on the list, please use the Add by Package ID to add the application directly.

You may find the package ID on the Play Store URL, such as https://***.com/details?id=com.android.example

Or, you can just check with your developer if the App is not on the Play Store.

4. Once you have added the Apps, it will show on the list. After you save and apply the config file to the device, it will take effect as you set, hiding/uninstalling the blocked app or only showing the allowed apps.
