[Guide] How to enable remote control on AirDroid Remote Support for Business?

For Android and Windows devices, Remote Support for Business enables seamless remote control, allowing technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely. Additionally, the product offers remote viewing capabilities for iOS devices, ensuring comprehensive support coverage across diverse operating systems.

 

To provide support with the remote support function to attended or unenrolled devices, please follow the steps below:

1. From the AirDroid Business Desktop Client, enter the 9-digit connection code which you can find on the controlled devices. Or Just find the device in the device list if it is enrolled.

 

2. The end user will have to click accept for the session to be initiated. For Windows devices, the steps end here. For Android devices, please follow the rest of the instructions.



3. Please click Screen Sharing first. It can be enabled from the Desktop Client or the mobile device. And ask the client to click Start Now on the mobile device to enable screen sharing.

4. From the AirDroid Business Desktop Client (supporter), tap the Tutorial Gesture icon on the left-hand side, then tap Remote Control to enter remote control mode.
Note: For controlled devices lower than Android 7.0 and iOS-controlled devices, the remote control function in Remote Support is not currently supported.

5. Ask your client to tap the Allow and Download now buttons on their AirDroid Remote Support app, which will initiate the remote control add-on download process.

6. Once the add-on is downloaded and installed, ask the client to return to the AirDroid Remote Support app and proceed with the following steps, Enable permissionInstalled servicesAllow, for the add-on to work properly.

7. After the add-on grants permission, the remote control will be enabled automatically.
