Modified on Fri, 30 Aug at 2:02 PM

Application Management Service (AMS) is a function of AirDroid Business that simplifies the process of application updates, releases, and maintenance on remote devices. AMS can Force Install applications or create a customizable bank of applications for easy access called App LibraryCompanies can decide which apps to go in the App Library and which devices to deploy with just a few mouse clicks.

What features does AMS include?

  • Redefine the Way Apps are Released with Staged Rollout
With Staged Rollout, you can specify which devices or groups you want to release the apps to. For apps in development, it also allows IT staff to customize rollouts by percentage, regions, devices, and groups before public release. The IT staff can publish to all devices after confirming the app works properly on all device models.

  • Simplify Your Deployment
With App Library, the deployment of your remote devices can be hassle-free. You can upload the App to the App Library and let your employees, and customers download it when available. You can also apply App Release Time; it can schedule app releases according to schedule. For unattended devices, Force Installation can provide automatic app installation for remote devices.

  • Customize App Details
Before publishing the apps in App Library, you can edit app details to achieve your business goal, including the name, description, app icon, and screenshots. You may also add notes for each release for your employees and customers. As you operate in International regions, you can create different language sets for Multi-languages App for global customers.

Who needs the App Library?

AirDroid Business's Application Management Service (AMS) enables our users and customers to create a private enterprise app library to manage the releases of business applications. Here are who and why you might need an enterprise app library:

  • Businesses with a collection of company apps needed to be deployed to various company-owned devices.
  • Businesses with a network of employees, customers, and partners who all might be using their devices. The App Library creates a professional image and a full-fledged app store for stakeholders to update and install apps on demand.
  • Businesses that constantly upload and update apps which need a way to manage these apps.
