In day-to-day device management, IT teams often need to handle a large number of repetitive operations, such as checking device status, filtering abnormal devices, generating reports, or following up after an alert is triggered.
AirDroid Business introduces new AI and automation capabilities to turn these manual tasks into a more efficient, intelligent operations experience. These capabilities help users reduce repetitive work and complete device queries, result organization, action execution, and follow-up tasks more quickly.
These capabilities are not limited to a single entry point or feature. Instead, they will gradually appear across different AirDroid Business scenarios, helping administrators manage devices in a more efficient and controlled way.
Main Features
1. AirDroid Business Copilot
AirDroid Business Copilot is your Question-to-Action Assistant. You can use natural language to query device information, perform actions, organize results, and more.
For example, you can use Copilot to complete tasks such as:
- Finding devices that match specific conditions
- Summarizing device status or operation results
- Performing actions on devices
For example, an administrator can first ask how many devices in a specific store are not in Kiosk mode, then ask Copilot to organize the results by online status, abnormal conditions, and other dimensions, and finally perform actions on the confirmed set of devices. To learn more about common conversation examples and practical tips for daily management, refer to How to Use Copilot to Manage Devices.
You can start using Copilot from the AirDroid Business Home page. If you are away from your computer, you can also use AirDroid Business Copilot on the GI mobile app.
2. Automation Templates
Automation Templates operationnfigured automation capabilities designed for common device operations scenarios. They are suitable for tasks that are frequently repeated, follow relatively fixed rules, and require regular checks or summaries.
In daily device management, administrators may often need to handle tasks such as:
- Checking device status
- Identifying abnormal devices
- Generating reports and sending them to relevant team members
If these tasks are handled entirely manually, administrators usually need to visit different pages, filter devices, check status, export results, and then organize the information into lists or reports. With Automation Templates, these time-consuming manual steps can be converted into automated tasks.

3. Alert-Triggered Workflows
AirDroid Business device alerts can now be associated with published GoInsight.AI workflows.
When a device alert is triggered in AirDroid Business, the system can automatically trigger a specified workflow and pass the relevant information into the subsequent process.
This can be used to:
- Start a preset workflow after an alert occurs
- Pass alert devices, alert types, and other contextual information into the workflow
- Automatically perform checks, specified actions, summaries, notifications, and other follow-up steps
For example, when a device triggers a certain type of alert, the system can automatically start an inspection workflow, check the status of the related devices, perform the specified actions, and send a summary of the results to the relevant team members. In this way, an alert is not just a notification. It can also become the starting point of a follow-up handling process.
For detailed steps on how to link alerts with workflows, refer to How to Trigger a GoInsight Workflow from an Alert.
FAQ
Is Copilot the same as all AI features in AirDroid Business?
No. Copilot is one of the key entry points in the AI-powered AirDroid Business experience. AirDroid Business will also gradually provide more AI and automation capabilities in scenarios such as inspections, reports, abnormality summaries, and alert handling.
Who can use Copilot? Are there any usage limits?
Using Copilot requires the appropriate permissions and quota. For information about how to assign permissions to team members, refer to How to Enable Copilot, Manage Seat Limits, and Manage Members. For details about quota consumption rules and plan information, see AB Copilot Plan Introduction and Explanation.
Where does the Copilot conversation take place?
You can submit a question from the AirDroid Business Home page. After submission, the conversation will continue in GoInsight Workspace → AirDroid Business Copilot.
What are Automation Templates used for?
Automation Templates are used to handle common and repetitive device operations tasks, such as device inspections, status checks, health reports, and abnormality summaries. You can configure the device scope, run rules, or notification methods based on a template. After publishing, the workflow will run according to the configured rules.
Will the system automatically execute an action after I send an action request to Copilot?
For actions that may affect devices, Copilot will first display a change preview and require the user to confirm execution. The action will only be executed after confirmation.
If there is no suitable template, can I create my own workflow?
Yes. If the existing templates do not meet your needs, you can create a workflow based on your own process, configure the required steps, and publish it for your team to reuse later.
