We provide some tips to keep AirDroid Remote Support running in the background and it can prevent your devices from being disconnected.
Please note, the steps may vary due to the variety of devices or Android OS versions.
Disable Battery Optimization
Method 1: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > tap on AirDroid Remote Support on Recently opened apps (or tap AirDroid Remote Support on all apps/App Info) > Battery.
After that, tap on the drop-down menu and select All apps > select AirDroid Remote Support and tap on Don't optimize.
After that, press Done > tap on AirDroid Control Add-on in the app list and tap on Don't optimize.
Method 2: Go to Settings > Battery > tap on 3-dots icon > Battery Optimization > tap the drop-down menu and select All apps > select AirDroid Remote Support and tap on Don't optimize.
Then, press Done > tap on AirDroid Control Add-on in the app list and tap on Don't optimize.
Lock AirDroid Remote Support on the recent page
Tap on the Recent button (The icon may vary depending on the OS version) > long-press AirDroid Remote Support icon > tap on Lock this app > you will see a Lock icon on the AirDroid Remote Support app.
Keep WLAN on during hibernation
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced settings or Advanced Wi-Fi > Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep, tap Always. If you have Wi-Fi Optimization on your devices, please make sure to disable it.
If you are using mobile data, you can skip this setting.
Developer options
To enable Developer options, please refer to the manufacturer manual.
Go to Settings > Developer options > Background process limit > tap Standard limit
