In the context of mobile device management (MDM), Geofencing is a location-based security mechanism that allows administrators to set up policies to restrict unauthorized access to sensitive corporate data coming from outside the organization.
To set up a Geofence, please refer to the steps below:
1. Switch to the Geofencing tab from the top of the page>Click Geofence Mgmt.>Click +New Geofence
Or the blank block with the +New Geofence in the middle (if there are existing Geofence)
2. Drag the fence to the location, input the longitude and latitude of the location or input the location keyword
3. Decide the name and the type of the Geofence
If you set the geofence type to a Circle, please set the radius of the geofence.
If you set the geofence type to a Polygon, please click at least three points on the map to create the polygon's corners.
4. Click ⊕Add on the bottom right to select the affected group or devices and click Save
